Andrew Kim contributed in the production of several Avid Technology – Audio Division tradeshows and events. He was responsible for working with other Avid business units to ensure events were focused towards supporting unified company marketing messages. Andrew specialized in coordinating show priorities and focusing on the goals that made each event successful.

Digidesign’s (Now Avid Audio Division) primary show each year is NAMM (National Assocation of Music Merchants), where the Avid family showcases new products and services. In 2007, Digidesign was tasked with merging all of Avid’s Audio Division under one umbrella.

In prior years, all three Avid Audio Division companies (Digidesign, M-Audio, and Sibelius) had their own separate booths and event marketing strategies. Andrew managed the design of the new unified booth and worked with each business unit to ensure a successful collaborative tradeshow event.

NAB (National Assocation of Broadcasting) is Avid’s primary show as a leader in video and audio industries. Andrew’s role was assisting in showcasing Pro Tools and Audio Post-Production products in Avid’s massive booth.

Digidesign’s product line for the live sound market segment, VENUE, has revolutionized live sound systems and environments by incorporating the flexibility and power of digital systems.

Andrew worked with live sound managers to create the vibe that was needed to impressively showcase VENUE products in use at live concerts for various tradeshows and events Avid participated in, which in addition to the above mentioned shows included WFX (Worship Facilities & Expo) and InfoComm as VENUE expanded its reach to include system integrators, contractors, and religious organizations as customers.
